Summary

I worked as a short-term consultant for the Impact Investing Institute, a leading organisation aiming to accelerate the growth of the impact investing market. I led research and stakeholder engagement for a project aiming to increase impact allocations toward Early Childhood Development (ECD), recognising the importance of prevention and early intervention on lifelong outcomes.

Over a 6-month social impact placement, I supported design, research and due diligence for Social Outcomes Contracts (SOCs) – an innovative performance-based financing model used across global health, education, employment and climate resilience. I focused on projects tackling youth employment in India, climate health and plastic recycling in Sub-Saharan Africa and social prescribing and youth mental health in England.

Summary

Over a 6-month social impact placement, I supported the Ed Sheeran Foundation at a critical launch phase to provide equitable access to music education across the UK. I worked closely with the CEO on grant management, impact reporting, policy engagement, research and charity governance. My policy engagement work contributed to a high-profile open letter signed by UK music industry professionals, a 2025 Parliamentary Debate and a national curriculum review on music education.

Summary

I conducted research on the emotional abuse of migrant domestic workers in Singapore for a local non-governmental organisation, the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics. I produced literature reviews on international human rights frameworks, employment legislation and public health/psychology, acting as co-author for a publicly released final report. I also facilitated Focus Group Discussions with 22 migrant workers, conducted data transcription & analysis and contributed to policy recommendations on abuse prevention.

Summary

Over 2 years, I took on progressive leadership positions at Yale-NUS College’s gender & sexuality student organisation. I organised various programmes related to gender and LGBTQ+ rights, including HIV education and testing; sexual assault survivor support; closed-door dialogues on sensitive topics (e.g. female sexuality, queerness & religion); panel discussions; and networking events. As President, I also oversaw general strategy, budgeting, external relations and yearly programming.

Summary

From 2017 onward, I have provided pro-bono translating services between English, French, Italian and Spanish across health & social justice issues – including translating global health and bioethics research abstracts into English and providing oral and written translation for NGOs in the United States supporting Spanish-speaking asylum seekers.
